I am not. It's folly for a captain to be willing to gamble, except in a dire situation. I have subordinates who look to me.

There is a game on Earth where a group of individuals pretend to be someone else, often in fantastical settings, while one other acts as the storyteller, guiding their tale along an adventure.

You use the dice to decide on many different outcomes. You may look at them, then, like… fate.

[This is a very Endless way of explaining a dnd session.]

It is not always bad to imagine a different life for oneself. Often, that is what drives humanity forward.

Dreams are dreams, whether or not they are played in a game, or exist as a goal in “real life”.

But I suppose that has nothing to do with dice. I hope you at least enjoy the color.

My sister liked to care for plants. I never had one myself.

I see. I have a sister that cares for goldfish.

[Dream, that isn't the same.

No. My eldest sister is an Endless, but she is Death.

[commandress]

... Death.

As in, literal death?

[dreamlord]

The embodiment of Death itself, yes. All of my siblings are an aspect of the living universe, much like myself.

... I see. Can the embodiment of Death raise living creatures without mishap?

[dreamlord]

Of course. It is not as though she kills living things with a touch. She only takes them when it is their time to move on. She guides them.

You have to understand, this is not as commonplace to me as it is to you.

And I am only clarifying. Many humans misunderstand Death. Many fear her. But she is very... cheerful. She is friendly, and because of what she is, she appreciates life more than most.

[He is clearly fond of his sister.]

She seems to be a very considerate individual.
