[ She's already moving back in for a second strike. ]

[Vecna moves to catch the blade in his clawed hand; whether or not it cuts through his palm barely seems to concern him.

But there's still a large chunk of rubble being held mid-air with Henry's powers -- he sends it colliding into Vecna's back, and the monster stumbles forward, open once more for a follow-up attack.]

I'm just encouraging you.

Believe me, I don't require encouragement--

[ she yanks her blade free, gripping the hilt with one hand and lashing out in a wide, sweeping stroke for Vecna's neck this time. ]

But I've noted it!

[vecna]

[The combination attack is effective enough; though this version of Henry cannot be defeated through physical means alone, it doesn’t mean they can’t deter “Vecna” for now.

The sword slices one of the tendrils at his neck, and Vecna stumbles back in pain, growling out in anger. It lifts a hand to telekinetically fling Cyllene… right into Henry.]

[ Well.

She can't really do anything about that, so.

Sorry, Henry. She'll at least make sure she doesn't accidentally stab you. ]

[vecna]

[Well.

She crashes into him and they go flying back a few feet, unceremoniously, to land in a painful heap in the ground. At least he wasn't stabbed.]

Get. Off.

[Pinned to the ground with her body weight atop him. It's the perfect time for Vecna to make a sudden disappearance like Henry was once wont to do. How annoying.]

[ He doesn't have to tell her twice, she's already moving once they've-- stopped moving, rolling off him and to her feet. And-- ]

He's escaped.

[vecna]

[He pulls himself back to his feet, a little worse for wear, but there's a sense of satisfaction in knowing that they've fended off that twisted (more accurate) version of himself.]

Maybe he's gone for good.

I doubt that. He may just be biding his time. I'd be cautious.
